The Ferris State University Black Alumni Association (FSUBAA) connects, engages, and supports Black alums of Ferris State University while strengthening our relationship with current students and the university community.

FSUBAA gives alums opportunities to reconnect, build meaningful relationships, celebrate our shared history, and contribute to the continued success of future generations of Bulldogs. Through alum events, networking, mentoring, scholarships, community involvement, and fellowship, we work to build a strong, lasting connection among FSUBAA alums across generations.

Our organization also bridges alums and current students. By sharing our experiences, resources, professional knowledge, and support, we help students recognize the strength of the FSUBAA community that stands behind them.

FSUBAA welcomes alums from every generation and encourages everyone to become involved. Whether through membership, volunteering, attending events, mentoring students, supporting scholarships, or simply reconnecting with former classmates, every alum can contribute. We are proud of our Ferris State heritage and committed to preserving the experiences, accomplishments, and contributions of Black students and alums who have helped shape the university. Connecting Our Past. Empowering Our Present. Building Our Future. Go Bulldogs!

FSUBAA Homecoming: Reconnect, Celebrate & Engage

FSUBAA Homecoming Plans

The Ferris State University Black Alumni Association (FSUBAA) is planning a full weekend of activities designed to bring alumni together to reconnect, celebrate, and enjoy the Ferris State Homecoming experience.

The weekend will begin with a Friday evening Meet & Greet, providing alumni and friends an opportunity to reconnect and welcome one another back to campus. Saturday’s activities will include the Homecoming tailgate, Ferris State football game, and an alumni day party, giving everyone plenty of opportunities for fellowship and Bulldog spirit.

The weekend will conclude on Sunday with an FSUBAA Alumni Brunch and farewell gathering, allowing alumni to share one more time together before heading home.

Throughout Homecoming weekend, FSUBAA will also encourage alumni to join or renew their membership, update their contact information, learn about opportunities to become involved with committees, and support FSUBAA merchandise and programs.

Our goal is to make Homecoming more than just a return to campus—it is an opportunity to strengthen relationships across generations of Black Ferris alumni and continue building a stronger FSUBAA community.

Reconnect. Celebrate. Engage.

Go Bulldogs! 🐾
